Marietta, Ga.

Donna Nations Kristofak of Marietta, Ga. died Saturday, Dec. 22, 2012. She was 49.

She was born Dec. 30, 1963 in St. Louis. Donna graduated from McEachern High School in West Cobb County and from Georgia State University in Atlanta. Donna was dedicated to raising her family in the community of friends which enfolded her. She was a devoted mother, a beloved daughter, and a cherished sister.

Donna is survived by her sons, Harrison (17 years old) and Zachary (15 years old); her mother, Helen (Ray) Pullium of Alexander City, Ala.; her father, Donald (Marilyn) Nations of Panama City, Fla.; and her sister, Katherine Nations (Nick) Nottleman of Columbus, Ga.; step-brother, Darren (Brandy) Haiman; and many other family members who share in the grief and loss of their beloved Donna.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to a scholarship fund for Donna’s two sons. Contributions can be made to: Harrison & Zac Scholarship Fund, P.O. Box 70091, Marietta, GA 30007-0091. 

Donna’s life will be celebrated by her family and friends in a memorial service on Monday, Jan. 7, 2013. The 11 a.m. service will be held at Johnson Ferry Baptist Church, 955 Johnson Ferry Road in Marietta.
