The parade, the fireworks, the game ball delivered by helicopter, more alumni than they could shake a stick at -- all the ingredients were in place for a memorable homecoming game at St. Vincent on Friday. Unfortunately, the Indians' opponent, St. Pius X, was disinclined to allow the Indians to cap off their celebration with a football victory. The Lancers used last week's game against Cuba as a prep game for their matchup with the Indians, and all that work paid off in the form of a 30-6 victory for St. Pius in a game rife with penalties and more than a few turnovers. The Indians fall to 4-3 on the season and will travel to Hillsboro to face Grandview in Week 8.
