He was 76. His wife and children were by his side at his home. </span></span></span></span></span></span></p>
<p><span class="P_[basicparagraph]_PARENT"><span class="P_bodycopy"><span class="F_times"><span class="S_regular"><span class="Pt_10"><span class="Cl_black">He was born on Feb. 17, 1935 in Perry County, the son of Wallace and Esther (Sutterer) Streiler. He and Matilda Hennemann were married on June 9, 1956 and she preceded him in death on Jan. 15, 1990. He then married Joanne (Cissell) Rollet on Sept. 27, 1997 and she survives in Perryville. </span></span></span></span></span></span></p>
<p><span class="P_[basicparagraph]_PARENT"><span class="P_bodycopy"><span class="F_times"><span class="S_regular"><span class="Pt_10"><span class="Cl_black">He was the loving father of Kenny (Jan) Streiler and David (Jennifer) Streiler of Perryville and Connie (Skip) Schmitt of Kimmswick. The loving grandfather of six grandchildren, Matt (Amanda) Schmitt of Herculaneum; Megan (Jason) Butler of Cape Girardeau; Christopher, Cory and Caleb Streiler of Perryville; and Ben Schmitt of Kimmswick. Beloved PawPaw Harry to two great-grandchildren, Makenna and Darrin Schmitt of Herculaneum. He was the loving step-father of Kim Kapp of Jackson; Paul Rollet and Mark (Cindy) Rollet of Perryville; Melody Rhodes of Millersville and Mary Jo (Ken) Place of Montgomery, Ill. Beloved step-grandfather of Jason (Staci) Tucker of Arnold; Samantha and Josh Rollet of Perryville; Kacie and Caleb Kapp of Jackson; Donovan and Allie Place of Montgomery, Ill. Alex and Colton Rhodes of Millersville. Beloved step-great-grandfather to Charley and Kaleigh Tucker of Arnold. </span></span></span></span></span></span></p>
<p><span class="P_[basicparagraph]_PARENT"><span class="P_bodycopy"><span class="F_times"><span class="S_regular"><span class="Pt_10"><span class="Cl_black">Mr. Streiler was a long time truck driver, retiring in 1992 from Valley Steel Products in Centralia, Ill. He then continued his passion of trucking at Rollet Brothers in Perryville continuing on at M.B.C. in McBride. He was a member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Sereno, the Sportsman Club, American Legion and the Knights of Columbus. </span></span></span></span></span></span></p>
<p><span class="P_[basicparagraph]_PARENT"><span class="P_bodycopy"><span class="F_times"><span class="S_regular"><span class="Pt_10"><span class="Cl_black">He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife; and one sister, Ruth Schremp. </span></span></span></span></span></span></p>
<p><span class="P_[basicparagraph]_PARENT"><span class="P_bodycopy"><span class="F_times"><span class="S_regular"><span class="Pt_10"><span class="Cl_black">Memorials are preferred to AmHeart Hospice or Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church. </span></span></span></span></span></span></p>
<p><span class="P_[basicparagraph]_PARENT"><span class="P_bodycopy"><span class="F_times"><span class="S_regular"><span class="Pt_10"><span class="Cl_black">The funeral Mass was held at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church on Wednesday, Dec. 21 at 10 a.m. with Rev. Bill Rhinehart officiating. Burial was at Mount Hope Cemetery. </span></span></span></span></span></span></p>

<p><span class="P_[basicparagraph]_PARENT"><span class="P_bodycopy"><span class="F_times"><span class="S_regular"><span class="Pt_10"><span class="Cl_black">Mr. Johnson was a United States Army Veteran of World War II. He was the bulk plant manager for MFA Oil. He was a member of Crossroads United Methodist Church; American Legion Post 133; Masonic Lodge 670 and Eastern Star Chapter 46. </span></span></span></span></span></span></p>
<p><span class="P_[basicparagraph]_PARENT"><span class="P_bodycopy"><span class="F_times"><span class="S_regular"><span class="Pt_10"><span class="Cl_black">He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Lester; two sisters, Gladys Smith and Hazel Johnson. </span></span></span></span></span></span></p>

<p><span class="P_[basicparagraph]_PARENT"><span class="P_bodycopy"><span class="F_times"><span class="S_regular"><span class="Pt_10"><span class="Cl_black">Penny graduated from Perryville High School in 1990. She was involved with girl&#x2019;s softball where both her daughters were pitchers. Penny was a fighter letting nothing keep her down. </span></span></span></span></span></span></p>
<p><span class="P_[basicparagraph]_PARENT"><span class="P_bodycopy"><span class="F_times"><span class="S_regular"><span class="Pt_10"><span class="Cl_black">She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Wilpert and Wilma (Puntmann) Bohnert and Frank and Cordula (Baer) Berkbuegler. </span></span></span></span></span></span></p>
