St. Vincent finally held its spring sports banquet. The event celebrated the seasons of the baseball, boys’ and girls track teams, golf, and girls soccer teams, and handed out several different individual awards. 

The baseball team went 7-15 this past spring, but lose just one senior to graduation. The program’s awards are as follows.

Freshman/Sophomore Scholar Athlete- John Wibbenmeyer

Junior/Senior Schloar Athlete: Garrett Dobbelare

110 percent award: Jacob Gremaud

Most Improved: Jackson Rellergert

Mr. Utility: Nick Lappe

Best Offensive player: John Wibbenmeyer

Best defensive player: Garrett Dobbelare

Best Pitcher: Nick Lappe

MVP: John Wibbemeyer

The St. Vincent golf team won the JCAA conference, district, and sectional meet on the way to finishing sixth in state as a team. The team’s awards were:

Positive attitude: Grace Unterreiner, and Luke Brickhaus

Scholar Athlete: JV, Kristen Robinson, varsity: Alex Brickhaus

Most improved: Ryan Mingione

Rookie of the year: Noah Anderson

110 percent award: Alex Brickhaus

MVP: Blake Bohnert, Alex Brickhaus, and Luke Brickhaus

The St. Vincent girls soccer team went 16-8 this past spring, finishing as the runner-up in Class 1. The program’s awards were as follows:

Freshman/Sophomore Scholar Athlete: Natalie Ernst, Genevieve Lipe, Hannah Riney, and Sophia Martin

Junior/Senior Scholar Athlete: Elizabeth Wibbenmeyer and Megan Lipe

110 percent award: Megan Hennemann

Most Goals: Kalli Seabaugh

Most assists: Genevieve Lipe

The St. Vincent track team sent 10 athletes to state this season and broke multiple school records. It’s program individual awards were: 

Freshman/Sophomore Scholar Athletes: Jack Baer, Claudia Otte, and Claire Deterding 

Junior/Senior Scholar Athletes: Kara Kassel and Isaac Layton

Outstanding thrower: Grace Schremp

Outstanding jumper: Charles Sauer

Most improved: Gabe Anders and Maggie Ponder

Most inspirational: Caleb Roth and Lacci Gibbar

MVP: Joe Baer and Marissa Cooper
