Ste. Genevieve took an early 14-point lead in Friday's game against visiting Perryville and that margin proved insurmountable for the Pirates, who lost 42-27 on the road.

A fast-paced first half saw the Dragons post a 21-7 lead by the end of the first quarter and 35-21 at the half. Perryville narrowed the gap to one touchdown four times, but just couldn't get over the hump.

Running back Austin Bullock scored three touchdowns for Ste. Genevieve. Quarterback Evan Daugherty ran for two touchdowns and passed for another to lead the Pirates' scoring.
