The Perryville School District 32 facilities committee met for a regular session meeting on Monday, Feb. 1 at the Perryville High School library. The two hour long meeting was well attended and guest speakers from another district discussed their experience with school transitioning followed by a discussion of the committee’s next steps. Several members of the Board of Education were present as well as administrators from each building.
Three options for the old Hoeckele parking lot situated on the Perryville downtown square, were presented to the Perryville Board of Aldermen Tuesday evening, during a regular session of the Perryville City Council.

The Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) announces the opening of Blue Spring Branch Conservation Area (CA) in Perry County. The area encompasses Ball Mill Resurgence Natural Area as well as an additional 71-acre tract, known as the Riney Tract. Ball Mill Resurgence and the Riney Tract are owned by the L-A-D Foundation and managed by MDC. The Riney tract includes woodland stream frontage and restoration of native grassland.
The Perryville Area Chamber of Commerce held its annual dinner on Thursday, January 28, at the American Legion Hall. The event saw record attendance with over 315 guests.
